Collin Mulliner

Collin Mulliner is an Engineering Manager for the Autonomous Vehicle Security Team at Cruise, with a progressive career in securing autonomous vehicles. Prior roles include Principal Engineer and Staff Engineer also focused on vehicle security. Collin has an extensive background as an Independent Security Researcher through MUlliNER.ORG, contributing to conferences and publishing numerous tools while developing applications for various mobile platforms. Previous experience encompasses significant positions at Square, Northeastern University, Technische Universität Berlin, and several research roles, with a strong emphasis on mobile and smartphone security. Collin holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Technische Universität Berlin, a Master’s from UC Santa Barbara, and a Bachelor’s from Fachhochschule Darmstadt. Current projects involve research on LoRa technologies, JavaScript in embedded systems, and developing an ESP32-based device.
