Sony Mohapatra

Sony Mohapatra is an experienced engineering leader specializing in AI compute platforms, currently serving as Senior Engineering Leader at Cruise since May 2021. Prior to this role, Sony held the position of Engineering Manager II at Apple, focusing on the Maps Data Pipeline from September 2015 to April 2021. Sony also worked at LinkedIn as Technical Lead Manager for Identity from September 2011 to August 2015 and began the career as a Senior Software Engineer at Informatica from January 2009 to August 2011. Sony holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Dallas and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
