DoD Account Executive at Crunchy Data

Adam Timm has a long and varied career in the field of data engineering and analysis. Adam began their professional journey in 2005 as the Chief of the Persistent Surveillance Lab for the Space Radar Program Office in the United States Air Force. In 2007, they joined Trusted Knowledge Options, Inc. as a Senior Engineer, where they worked as a Subject Matter Expert in the Joint Persistent Surveillance Integration Office in the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. In 2011, they joined the NGA as a Deputy Branch Chief for the Airborne GEOINT Support Team, MTI Portfolio Manager, GEOINT Capabilities Integration Analyst, GEOINT Requirements and Integration Analyst, and Program Management Execution Officer. From 2014 to 2018, they worked for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency as the Chief Digital Transformation and Domain Mission Manager in the Xperience Directorate. During this time, they also worked as an Adjunct Professor for a joint course between Washington University in St. Louis and Saint Louis University. In 2019, they joined Crunchy Data as a DoD Account Executive and Senior Database Engineering Consultant, where they help clients optimize their Postgres and Postgis implementations and drives modern, cloud native GIS implementations.

Adam Timm has an impressive educational background. Adam obtained a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Minnesota in 2001. Adam then earned a Master of Science in Space Studies from American Public University System in 2007. In 2009, they obtained a Graduate Certificate in GEOINT from George Mason University and in 2017 they earned an Executive MBA in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis - Olin Business School. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications: a SAFe Agilist (SA) from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2015, and Geospatial Intelligence from the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF) in 2011.
