Andrew Crenshaw

Andrew Crenshaw has over 10 years of professional work experience. Andrew started their career in 2006 as an IT Consultant/Technician and Hardware Support Technician at Appalachian State University. In 2010, they became an InfoSec Analyst at Honeywell Technology Solutions, Inc. In 2012, they returned to SPAWAR as an IT Specialist and in 2013 they became a Linux Administrator at SPARC, LLC. In 2014, they joined Strategic Operational Solutions as a System Engineer and in 2018 they joined Crunchy Data as a Senior Operations Engineer. Throughout their career, they have provided systems engineering support for Joint Chiefs of Staff applications, managed Red Hat virtual systems in a Verizon Terremark cloud environment, and created and implemented accountability within departments.

Andrew Crenshaw received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems and Computer Science from Appalachian State University between 2005 and 2010. In 2009, they obtained a ITIL Foundations v3 certification from EXIN. In 2010, they obtained a Linux+ certification from CompTIA and a Security+ certification from CompTIA. In 2012, they obtained a CISSP certification from (ISC)2. In 2014, they obtained a Puppet Certified Professional certification from Puppet Labs, Inc.
