Matthias Göbel

Matthias Göbel has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Matthias started their career in 1997 with LR Medienverlag und Druckerei GmbH, where they completed their apprenticeship as a Verlagskaufmann until 2000. Matthias then moved on to work as a Multimediareferent at ibis akam for 11 months in 2002. In 2004, Matthias joined unitedsale & more GmbH as a Virtual-Sales-Agent and Technikbeauftragter until 2005. Matthias then joined Pro Ton Media in 1999 as an Online-Chefredakteur until 2004. Matthias continued their career as an Abteilungsleiter - Software/Tonträger at Media Markt TV-HiFi-Elektro GmbH in Cottbus from 2005 to 2009, and later at the Berlin-Biesdorf branch from 2009 to 2010. From 2011 to 2017, Matthias served as an Abteilungsleiter - Software at Saturn Electro-Handels GmbH. In 2009, they started working as a Redakteur at www.scifinews.de, where they are still currently employed. Additionally, Matthias held the role of Herausgeber at SciFiBloc since January 2018. Finally, in 2017, they also took on the position of Sales-/Label- & Produkt-Manager at Crunchyroll, where they continue to work.

Matthias Göbel attended the Gymnasium Großräschen from 1992 to 1996, where they obtained their Abitur degree with a focus on Mathematik.
