Olivier Fallaix

Olivier Fallaix has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Olivier began their career as an animator and journalist at Pixtel in 1992, where they worked until 2001. During this time, they also worked as a journaliste for Hachette/Joypad from 1995 to 2001. Fallaix then moved on to work as a journalist for M6 METROPOLE TELEVISION in 2002. Olivier later took on roles as an animateur TV at Mangas from 2000 to 2003, and as an animateur et journaliste radio at Radio Junior from 1999 to 2004.

In 2001, Fallaix became the director of collection at Loga-Rythme, where they created and supervised an edition label for animated music, working there until 2005. Olivier also worked as a market development manager for Crunchyroll, Inc. in France from 2014 onwards.

In addition to their various roles, Fallaix held the position of editor-in-chief at AnimeLand/Anime Manga Presse from 2006 to 2013, and was responsible for the website of AnimeLand from 2008.

Prior to their work at Crunchyroll, Fallaix worked independently as a conference speaker and moderator on manga and animation topics, and also worked as a maquettiste, creating VHS and DVD covers for various publishers from 1994 to 2005.

From 1987 to 1989, Olivier Fallaix attended IUT B / Lyon Villeurbanne, where they earned a degree in DUT en Génie Electrique et Informatique Industrielle, with a specialization in Systèmes asservis et automatismes de puissance. No specific field of study was mentioned.
