Onyi Cho has a diverse work experience in the tech industry. They started their career as an Office Assistant at Wentworth Institute of Technology in 2011, followed by working as a Game Room Attendant in Resident's Hall in 2013. In 2014, they worked as a Software Developer (Co-op) at Dolume LLC, where they built tools for a database transfer application and developed a proxy server using Java.

In 2015, Onyi joined SkyStarTrade as a Software Developer and gained experience in backend development using Java with the Spring Framework. They also handled integration using various APIs and managed Linux and Windows servers. They deployed web applications using Docker, configured Apache Server, and upgraded to Nginx. Onyi implemented centralized user management using Active Directory with LDAP connection and established a production deployment workflow using Bash Script and Jenkins. They also explored potential tech stacks such as AngularJS, Spring Boot, Solr, and Oracle DB.

In 2019, Onyi moved to AlertEnterprise as a Software Engineer until 2021. Currently, they are working as a DevOps Engineer at Crunchyroll, starting in 2021.

Onyi Cho's education history begins in 2009 when they obtained a High School Diploma from Burton (Phillip and Sala) Academic High School. Afterwards, from 2011 to 2015, Onyi attended Wentworth Institute of Technology where they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. During their time at Wentworth, Onyi focused on Computer Engineering as their major and Computer Science as their minor. In 2019, Onyi attended App Academy for a brief period to further their education in Computer Software Engineering.
