Surya Matte is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and delivery management. Currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at Crunchyroll since December 2023, Surya previously held the role of Delivery and Site Head for Hyderabad at XPO Logistics, Inc. from August 2021 to July 2023, where significant accomplishments included rapidly scaling the Hyderabad center and managing cloud transformation initiatives. Surya's earlier career at Yash Technologies spanned over a decade, culminating in the role of AVP, Digital Services, where leadership encompassed digital service management, application modernization, and client engagements for various high-profile companies. Starting as a Consultant in 2000, Surya's foundation in technology developed during tenures at Satyam Computer Services and educational background in Computer Science from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, has reinforced expertise in delivering innovative solutions across various domains.
