Darren Brandl

Darren Brandl has extensive work experience in the entertainment industry. Darren served as the Chief Operating Officer at Crypt TV from 2015, where they played a key role in building a shared universe of original characters on social media. Prior to that, they were the Producer and Founder of LOCAL CREATIVE, where they were responsible for end-to-end creative producing of premium independent content and raising capital. Before that, they worked as the Director of Development at SILVER LION FILMS, where they developed various feature and TV projects and organized financing. Darren also had international experience as a backpacker and volunteer during their gap year, traveling to multiple countries and volunteering in Guatemala. Earlier in their career, they worked as the Director of Acquisitions at DK MEDIA CONSULTING, coordinating the acquisitions of over 400 high-profile films for foreign distribution clients.

Darren Brandl attended California State University, Northridge from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Cinema & Television Arts.
