Darren Briden

Darren Briden has a diverse range of work experience. Darren is currently serving as the Creative Director at Crypthulhu Studios, Inc. since December 2021. Prior to this role, Darren was the Founder & Developer at Boarding Party starting from October 2013.

Darren also worked as a Designer and Coder at Once Over Productions from October 2012 to October 2013. Before that, they served as an Independent Flash Developer at Mystery Box Entertainment from March 2011 to October 2012. In this role, they designed, programmed, tested, and promoted Flash games for web play.

Darren also has experience from their time at Vancouver Film School. From January 2010 to June 2010, they worked as a Project Manager for a student project. Darren managed a team of five students and oversaw the development of an action/puzzle platformer game. Additionally, they served as the Lead Gameplay Designer and Assistant Coder for the project. From June 2009 to June 2010, they were a Game Design Student at Vancouver Film School, where they studied game theory, business, and art, and gained practical experience in taking game ideas from concept to completion through planning and experimentation.

Darren Briden attended St. Olaf College from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business, Management, and Asian Studies. Subsequently, from 2009 to 2010, Darren enrolled at Vancouver Film School to study Game Design.
