Jeff Weinstein

Chief Architect at Cryptic Studios

Jeff Weinstein began their work experience as a Programmer at Quality Software in 1982. Jeff then worked as a Programmer at IBM from 1988 to 1989 before becoming a Senior Software Engineer at Silicon Graphics from 1989 to 1992. From 1992 to 1995, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at MicroUnity. Weinstein then became a Lead Software Architect at Geocast Network Systems from 1999 to 2001. Jeff also worked as a Security Architect at Netscape from 1995 to 1999. From 2001 to 2002, Weinstein served as Founder and CTO at Switchbox Technologies before becoming Founder and CTO at Pandora Digital Media System from 2002 to 2004. From 2004 to 2009, they worked as a Lead Engineer at Multiverse. Weinstein then joined Cryptic Studios in 2009 and held various positions, including Senior Game Programmer, Lead Programmer for Star Trek Online, Principal Programmer for Neverwinter, and Chief Architect.

Jeff Weinstein attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1984 to 1988. The specific degree and field of study pursued during this time are not known.
