Kelly Deatherage

Kelly Deatherage is an R&D Scientist at Crystal Farms Dairy Company since September 2022, overseeing cross-functional initiatives for onboarding and launching new vendors while focusing on product consistency and development. Prior experience includes roles at Grande Cheese Company, where Kelly advanced from R&D Sensory Scientist I to Scientist II, contributing to sensory characterization of Italian cheeses and managing projects while mentoring interns. Early career roles included Dairy Ingredient Applications Intern and Cheesemaking Intern, gaining practical knowledge in cheese production and ingredient application. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Technology from The Ohio State University, complemented by a high school diploma with honors from Clinton-Massie High School.
