Chas Mahanga

Chas Mahanga is an experienced professional with a diverse background in operations management within the mining and manufacturing industries. Currently serving as a Product Support Supervisor at CSBP since June 2021, Chas previously held roles such as Site Manager and Supervisor at Dyno Nobel from October 2019 to June 2021, where responsibilities included the management of remote open-pit operations and safety supervision. Chas’s earlier experience at Downer encompassed site management and area management, focusing on safety, training, and budget oversight. Additional roles with Dyno Nobel highlight expertise in health and safety, operations management, and tendering processes. Chas has also contributed as a volunteer with the Red Cross and possesses a strong foundation in customer relations and team management from earlier positions in the hospitality sector. Education was completed at St Patricks College, Silverstream from 1985 to 1989.
