Brandy Shigemoto

Brandy Shigemoto has a diverse and extensive work experience. Brandy'smost recent position is Director of Product Design at DISCO, starting in June 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Group Design Manager at DISCO from August 2022 to June 2023. Before joining DISCO, Brandy worked at H-E-B, where they held various roles including Design Manager from January 2022 to August 2022, Senior Product Designer from December 2020 to January 2022, and Product Designer from April 2020 to December 2020. Brandy also has experience as a Senior Experience Designer at Accomplice LLC from May 2019 to April 2020, Senior Product Designer at Handsome. from October 2018 to May 2019, and Senior Visual Designer at Fjord, Part of Accenture Interactive from June 2017 to October 2018. In addition, Brandy has worked as a Designer in Residence at St. Edward's University from September 2016 to October 2018, and as a Design Research Assistant and DIGI Lab Assistant at the same university from August 2013 to May 2015. Brandy also gained experience as a Studio Art-Design Intern at GSD&M from September 2014 to April 2015, and as a Design Intern at CoPilot Creative from May 2014 to August 2014. Overall, Brandy has demonstrated expertise in product design, design management, and experience design throughout their career.
