Lia Hsu-Rodriguez

Lia Hsu-Rodriguez is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in program management, research assistance, and community advocacy. Currently serving as a Program and Research Assistant at the Center for the Study of Social Policy, Lia previously held positions including Residential Counselor at the MIT Department of Mathematics, where guidance was provided to high school students from underrepresented backgrounds. Additional experience includes contributing to the Bronx Cooperative Development Initiative's economic democracy efforts, assisting in teaching at the MIT Experimental Study Group, and participating in various internships that focused on health policy, community outreach, and research in synthetic biology. Lia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology and Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, with a concentration in Global Health and Health Policy.
