Christian McBeth

Christian McBeth has a diverse work experience spanning over several years in various roles. Christian has worked as a Technical Solutions Architect at cStor since August 2018. Prior to that, they were the Founder and CEO of www.gigaphaseit.com for 14 years, specializing in IT transformation services. From 2017 to 2018, Christian served as the Director of Cloud Solutions - North America at APSU Inc., where they successfully built the business within five months. Christian also has experience as a Solutions Architect II at SunGard Availability Services, where they managed strategic pre-sales opportunities. Christian founded and served as CEO of Gigaphase Inc. from 2004 to 2006, providing various IT services to clients. Christian also worked as a Business Technologist: Senior Consultant at Computer Associates from 2000 to 2004, focusing on solution development for pre-sales engagements. Prior to that, Christian was a Senior Account Executive at AT&T Local Services, where they achieved top sales performance. Christian also held positions at Genuity, GTE Internetworking, and Goodnet, where they gained experience in telecommunications, project management, and startup operations.

Christian McBeth has a diverse education history. From 1990 to 1994, they attended Arizona State University and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Industrial Technology from the College of Engineering. In 2004, they received certification in Storage Area Networks: Architecture and Basic Administration from the Storage Networking Industry Association.

In 2009, Christian enrolled in the University of Phoenix and completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Systems in 2011. Additionally, in 2013 and 2014, they earned two certifications from EMC Proven Professional Certification, specializing in Backup & Recovery and becoming a Systems Engineer for Backup & Recovery.

Christian further expanded their knowledge in 2014, attending the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to complete a Professional Education program in Information Technology.

Christian continued to pursue professional certifications, including obtaining the AWS Technical Professional certification in 2016 from Amazon Web Services, specializing in Cloud Solutions such as EC2, S3, EBS, and Aurora. In 2018, they obtained the NetApp Certified Storage Associate - Hybrid Cloud certification, which focused on NetApp and OnTap Cloud Volumes Engineering and Architecture.

Christian has also acquired several additional certifications throughout their career. In 2017, they became an AWS Technical Professional (Cloud Specialist) through Amazon Web Services. In 2019, they achieved the HPE ASE Server Solutions Architect V4 certification from Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Additionally, they obtained the Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise SD-WAN Implementation certification from Cisco in 2020. Recently, in 2021, they became certified as a Commvault Certified Solutions Architect by Commvault and as an RTA - Rubrik Technical Associate by Rubrik, Inc.

It's worth mentioning that Christian has military certifications as well. Christian completed various courses at the Marine Corp Institute, including leadership, combat engineering, and weapons systems from 1987 to 1994. Additionally, in 1987 and 1989, they attended the Marine Corp Engineer School, focusing on combat engineering.
