Stacy Venturi-Pickett has been a freelance designer and illustrator since 1987. In 2005, they began working as a freelance designer for First & Main, Inc., where they were responsible for plush toy design, product development, concept, design, color and detail specifications, revisions for overseas vendors, display packaging, sales sheets, e-blast ads, web page and banner design, photo retouching, and catalog page design. stacy also provided instruction for other designers. In 2010, they began working as a freelance designer for Build-A-Bear Workshop and Fiesta Toy Company. In 2012, they began working as a freelance designer illustrator for Marcie Designs, Inc. and a freelance designer for Happy Day Flowers and DANU Corporation. In 2014, they began working as a freelance designer for O-OOPS / Baby Solutions. In 2018, they began working as a freelance designer and illustrator for CTA, Inc. In 2010, they also designed and illustrated the children's book "Brave Just Like Me" in support of children with medical challenges, and proceeds from the book go to support families and the distribution of the book.

Stacy Venturi-Pickett attended The Art Institutes from 1981 to 1983, where they earned an Associate degree in Fashion Illustration.
