Zachary Widing

Zachary Widing has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Zachary began their career as an Assistant Locksmith at Ashley Safe and Lock in 2004. In 2005, they joined the United States Marine Corps as a Data Communications Chief and Lead Senior System Administrator, where they supervised multiple networks and managed equipment worth millions of dollars. After leaving the Marines in 2010, Zachary worked as a Senior System Engineer/Administrator at FedConcepts, providing Tier III support to the United States Marine Corps's Network Operations Security Center. Zachary then worked at Secure Mission Solutions and Spinvi as an Enterprise Cloud Architect, designing and operating private cloud environments for the Navy's Medical branch. From 2014 to 2019, Zachary worked at VMware as a Senior Systems Engineer, dedicated to the US Navy and Marine Corps team. Zachary then took on the role of Principal Solution Architect at CTG Federal, and since 2022, they have served as the Chief Technology Officer - DoD. In 2018, Zachary was also the owner of Battle Plan Tech.

Zachary Widing attended the Marine Corps Institute from 2005 to 2010, where they pursued General Studies. In 2006, they also attended the Marine Corps Communications School, specializing in Data Communications. Prior to this, from 2000 to 2003, they completed their high school education at the Indiana Academy. Zachary has obtained various certifications, including the VMware U.S. Federal Specialization, VMware Sales Professional - 5, VMware Technical Sales Professional - 5, ITIL v3 Framework, VCAP-DCA (4 & 5), VCP4/5, CISSP, NCDA, and CCNA. Zachary also holds certifications in Security+ & Network+ and VCAP-DCD (5).
