Vivek Jagtap

Vivek Jagtap has extensive experience in the field of electrical engineering and project management. Vivek currently works for CtrlS Datacenters Ltd as the Associate Vice President - Datacenter Designs, where they lead the electrical engineering team in designing new data centers, expanding existing facilities, and resolving operational issues. Vivek is also responsible for the engineering activities of a 100 MW solar project in Nagpur.

Prior to this, Vivek worked at Sterling and Wilson, where they held various roles including Head of Design and Engineering for Wind Energy, Deputy General Manager for Design and Engineering in Solar, Deputy General Manager for MEP Projects, and Senior Manager for Design and Planning in MEP. Vivek successfully completed the design and engineering activities for the world's largest solar project in Abu Dhabi, which included power evacuation systems with 500 MVA power transformers and a 220 kV underground cabling network.

Before that, Vivek worked at Suzlon Energy Limited as the Manager of Project Engineering, where they headed the electrical function of the department. Their responsibilities included designing, equipment layout, finalizing SLDs, earthing drawings, cable schedules, and conceptual/detailed engineering of switchyards for turbines up to a voltage level of 33 kV. Vivek also played a key role in selecting electrical equipment, fault analysis, short circuit studies, and finalizing specifications for high voltage products.

Vivek Jagtap obtained their Secondary School Certificate from J.N. Petit Technical High School in 1989. Vivek then pursued a Diploma in Electrical Engineering at Cusrow Wadia Institute of Technology from 1989 to 1992. Later, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the same institution in 2000. In 2005, Vivek enrolled at Symbiosis Distance Learning Institute and earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration with Specialization in Operations in 2006.
