Andrei Marian Hagiu

Andrei Marian Hagiu has a strong background in software development and engineering. Andrei Marian started their career at Gemalto in 2012 as a Software Development Engineer, focusing on Javacard applet development, validation, testing, and solution design. Andrei Marian worked extensively on NFC mobile payment and transport applications, collaborating with various industry standards organizations and technologies.

In 2015, Andrei joined Swiss Mobility Solutions, a Gemalto company, as a QoE/QoS Research Engineer. Their role encompassed enhancing and optimizing the Quality of Experience (QoE) solution using a SIM card agent. Andrei Marian successfully filed four patent memos, two of which were approved. Additionally, they were responsible for testing and integrating the SIM-based solution into the M2M/IoT ecosystem.

In 2016, Andrei transitioned to Cubic Telecom as a SIM Development Engineer. During their time there, they were involved in development and operations related to SIM technology. Andrei Marian then advanced to the position of SIM Operations and Development Team Lead in 2018, where they led a team responsible for managing the operations and development of SIM services.

Andrei Marian Hagiu completed an Erasmus Exchange program in Electrical Engineering at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague from 2011 to 2012. Andrei Marian then obtained a Master's Degree in SAATI (Advanced Systems in Automation and Information Technologies) from Transilvania University of Brasov from 2006 to 2012. Additionally, they hold certifications in ITIL® v4 Foundation from PeopleCert and completed courses on "Gretchen Rubin on Creating Great Workplace Habits" and "Managing Your Time" from LinkedIn.
