Dylan Costigan

Dylan Costigan has a long and varied work experience in network engineering and infrastructure roles. Dylan currently serves as the Principal Network Engineer at Cubic Telecom, where they are responsible for the core network infrastructure and customer connectivity solutions. Prior to this, they were the DevOps and Infrastructure Lead at Cubic Telecom, where they managed the datacenter and IP backbone network.

Before joining Cubic Telecom, Dylan worked at First Data Corporation as a Network Engineer, where they designed and maintained highly redundant distributed networks and supported large-scale datacenters. Dylan also played a key role in consolidating legacy datacenters and designing a new international network backbone.

Earlier in their career, Dylan worked at ICON plc in several roles, including as a Network Services Engineer and Principle Network Engineer. Dylan was responsible for supporting and maintaining a global enterprise environment, migrating datacenters, and managing LAN, WAN, and firewall infrastructure.

Dylan also has experience working at Facebook as a Network Operations Engineer and Technical Lead, where they supported various technologies and provided network troubleshooting and configuration services.

Their career started at Gateway as a Desktop Support Technician and later became a Desktop Specialist, where they designed and supported Citrix server farms and Microsoft Exchange solutions.

Overall, Dylan has a strong background in network engineering, infrastructure management, and datacenter migration, making him a valuable asset in these areas.

Dylan Costigan obtained a Certificate in Cloud Solutions Architecture from TU Dublin Computer Science in 2020. Prior to that, they attended Clondalkin Information Technology Initiative (CITI) in 1996-1997 and Collinstown Park Community College from 1990 to 1995. Dylan Costigan also holds additional certifications including AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2020, Cisco Certified Network Professional Routing and Switching (CCNP Routing and Switching) from Cisco in 2014, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft.
