VP Product Management, Software Engineering And Analytics at Cubic Telecom

Mohamed Toukourou has a strong background in product management, software engineering, and analytics. Mohamed began their career at HP as a project manager, working on global integration and deployment services for mobile core network systems. Mohamed then moved on to Roland Berger Strategy Consultants and Devoteam Consulting as a strategy consultant. In 2010, they joined Oberthur Technologies as a business development manager, eventually becoming the director of the M2M & IoT Solutions Business Line. During their time at Oberthur Technologies, they introduced and developed IoT device and application enablement platforms, led the product management function, and managed a team of product managers. In 2016, they joined Cubic Telecom as the head of eSIM, M2M Connectivity Management, and later became the VP of Product, Software Engineering, and Analytics in 2017.

Mohamed Toukourou has a diverse education history. In 1995-1996, they attended Lycée Louis Le Grand and Université Paris Cité, where they obtained an associate's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Telecommunications Engineering from Télécom Paris from 1996 to 2000. Concurrently, they also completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ottawa from 1998 to 2000.

In 2006-2007, Mohamed earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management from INSEAD. More recently, in 2022, they participated in an Executive Education program on INNOVATION FOR GROWTH at MIT Sloan School of Management.

Additionally, Mohamed has obtained various certifications over the years. These include Professional Scrum Master I from Scrum.org (2020), Artificial Intelligence Foundations: Neural Networks from LinkedIn (2020), Design Thinking: Implementing the Process from LinkedIn (2019), Design Thinking: Understanding the Process from LinkedIn (2019), Microservices Foundations from LinkedIn (2019), ITIL Foundation Level from AXELOS Global Best Practice (2019), and an Associate's Certificate in Project Management from The George Washington University (2004).
