Ross Keeling has a diverse work experience in the culinary industry. Ross started their career as a Demi Chef at The Oyster Smack Inn, where they gained experience in breakfast, lunch, and dinner preparation. After that, they worked at HIX Restaurants, starting as a Senior Sous Chef and gradually progressing to overseeing other chefs and sections. Ross then worked at SUPER 8 RESTAURANTS LIMITED as a Sous Chef, specializing in Thai cuisine and cooking over an open fire. Following this, Ross joined Spring Restaurant as a Junior Sous Chef and later became a Sous Chef at Sager + Wilde, participating in the opening of a new restaurant. Ross continued their career as a Sous Chef at The Gate and then joined THE CHEESE TRUCK - ARCHIES BAR LIMITED, where they held the positions of Head Chef and Executive Chef. Most recently, they worked as a Chef Trainer at CareTrade UK Charitable Trust, providing support and training to young autistic adults in the catering industry. Ross currently holds the position of Head Chef at Cubitt House Ltd.

Ross Keeling attended Mayflower High School in Billericay, Essex from 2000 to 2005. After completing their secondary education, they enrolled at the South Essex College of Further and Higher Education, where they pursued a NVQ Level 2 in Food Preparation in the field of Hospitality & Catering from 2005 to 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Ross Keeling also obtained several certifications. In December 2019, they achieved the Safe Food Level 3 certification from The Nationwide Caterers Association (NCASS). In January 2020, they became a Level 1 Associate of the Academy of Cheese. Ross attended a Business Management for Hospitality Sector course at Watershed in November 2020. In December 2020, they received Safeguarding certification from Smoothwall. In March 2021, Ross obtained their COSHH certification from Zenith Hygiene Group Ltd. Ross also completed the Open Book Management course provided by ZingTrain in April 2021. Lastly, in April 2022, they became a certified Mental Health First Aider through Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England.
