Joan Garcia Tormo

Joan Garcia Tormo has demonstrated a diverse and extensive work experience. They started as a Teaching Assistant at Universitat de Barcelona in 2014 before moving on to become a Demonstrator at the University of Southampton in 2015. Following this, they took on the role of a Private Tutor, providing lessons in mathematics and sciences to sixth form and university students. Their career progressed to roles such as Data Scientist, Data Science Manager, Head of Data & Research, and Director of Product and Software at Cudo. Currently, Joan holds the position of Head of Research and Economics at Cudos Foundation, showcasing their expertise in research, data analysis, and leadership roles.

Joan Garcia Tormo completed a Bachelor of Science in Physics and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Universitat de Barcelona in 2009-2014. Following this, they earned a Master of Science in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics at Universitat de Barcelona in 2014-2015. They then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics at the University of Southampton from 2015 to 2019. In 2019, Joan Garcia Tormo obtained an Associate Fellow certification from the Higher Education Academy.
