Chanda Owens

Chanda Owens has a diverse work experience in the field of quality management. From 2023 onwards, they serve as the VP Quality at Cue Health, leading the Quality Organization and being responsible for all areas of quality, including regulatory compliance and risk management.

Prior to that, from 2019 to 2023, they were the VP Global Quality & Regulatory Compliance at Advanced Sterilization Products (ASP), where they led the Quality Organization through the change management of divestiture from Johnson & Johnson and developed a single Global Quality Management System.

Chanda's previous roles at Johnson & Johnson include Senior Director Quality & Compliance-ASP, Director Quality Operations-ASP, Director Product Quality-Animas Corporation, and Quality Manager-Lifescan. In these roles, they had responsibilities such as overseeing the execution of the quality system, coordinating daily quality system requirements, and establishing quality operation priorities.

Earlier in their career, Chanda held positions as an Operations Project Manager, Senior Process Engineer, and Process Engineer I-III, where they led various projects and teams associated with process transfer and validation.

In addition, they had experience in process excellence deployment and training in Six Sigma and Lean methodologies. Chanda has a strong background in quality management and regulatory compliance, as well as experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving continuous improvement.

Chanda Owens earned a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, where they attended from 1998 to 2002.
