Ian S.

Ian S. has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Ian started their career in 2001 as an Equity Research Associate at Citigroup Asset Management, where they covered global software and services sectors. Ian then joined Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors in 2005, working as a Research Analyst in Equity. During their time there, they were responsible for investment analysis, stock selection, and assisted in analyzing high-yield debt and leveraged loans.

In 2010, Ian joined Cue Health Inc. as a Board Director and later became the Chief Financial Officer. In these roles, they built an operating model, steered financial and operating strategy, and guided early fundraising efforts.

Ian returned to Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors in 2012, this time as a Research Analyst in Credit and Equity. Their responsibilities included investments in closed-end mutual funds, long-short hedge funds, and SMAs. Ian performed due diligence on companies and industries, developed detailed working models, and recommended security selection and target entry/exit points.

In 2020, Ian worked as a Senior Finance Professional at an independent company before joining Cue Health Inc. once again as the VP of Finance.

Ian S. has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Harvard University. Ian also attended Choate Rosemary Hall but did not obtain a degree from there. Additionally, they hold a certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst Charterholder from the CFA Institute.
