Mozell Person

Mozell J. Person serves as the Dean of Instruction for Applied Behavioral and Social Sciences, Business Education, and Agriculture, as well as Dean for Rising Scholars & Justice Impacted Programs at Cuesta College since January 2023. Prior experience includes roles at Tidewater Community College from January 2010 to December 2022, encompassing Associate Professor of Psychology, Psychology Department Chair, Coordinator of First College Success, and Director of Academic Alert. Additionally, Mozell J. Person worked as a School Bus Driver for Virginia Beach City Public Schools from June 2019 to June 2022 and served as an Adjunct Professor at Chowan University from August 2010 to May 2012. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Gwynedd Mercy University, a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Higher Education Administration from Regent University, a Master of Arts in Clinical/Community Psychology from Norfolk State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Chowan University.
