Rachel grew up in LA. She had a strong interest in healthy eating and food, but she later realized it turned out to be more of an interest in diet culture. As Rachel studied nutrition, she learned there was another side to dietetics and has since shifted to helping people build a healthy relationship with food like she did.
Rachel takes a weight neutral approach to her counseling. She’s direct with her patients while still being gentle, and helps patients find food freedom through a mix of evidenced based support, nutrition education, and a little humor.
