Dan Mesches currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Swensons Drive-In Restaurants, a company known for its iconic drive-in dining experience featuring fresh-grilled burgers and handspun milkshakes. Since February 2022, Dan has also been involved with the Society of Fellows at The Culinary Institute of America. Prior to Swensons, Dan held the position of President and CEO at Sprinkles from January 2017 to July 2024, and served as the CEO/President of Hopdoddy Burger Bar from 2013 to 2016, contributing to its growth in multiple states. Dan founded and led the Star Restaurant Group from 2000 to 2013. Dan Mesches holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Union College and studied International/Global Studies at the University of South Carolina-Columbia.
