Jae W. Kim

Jae W. Kim is an experienced interpreter specializing in Korean-English interpretation across various sectors, with a focus on medical and public service contexts. Currently serving as a Korean Interpreter at Tennessee Language Center since June 2022, Jae has also held positions as an Audio Medical Interpreter at Stratus Video and as a Certified Medical Interpreter (CMI-Korean) with The National Board of Certification for Medical Interpreters. Additional roles in medical interpretation include work with GLOBO, Propio Language Services, CulturaLink, Go Transportation & Translation, and self-employment since June 2017. Jae W. Kim has a background in journalism, with prior experience as a radio journalist at Radio Seoul and Radio Korea Media Group. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in French Language & Literature and Journalism & Broadcasting from Ewha Womans University and completion of a 60-hour interpreter training program at Culture Advantage.
