How you can help make a better world of work
Culture Amp is a rapidly growing company empowering our customers to build Culture First companies. Our market-leading, category-defining Engagement product has been the engine of our success. In 2019 we added an award winning performance management solution to our portfolio. These two products together enable us to deliver highly differentiated, powerful and industry-leading capabilities to our customers.
We are looking for an experienced Team Lead to lead our Design System team, which owns the Kaizen design system and component library. This a rare opportunity to take the lead of a mature and well-resourced design system team where one designer and four other engineers come together to support ~20 product teams with a design system that is universally valued – from the individual engineers who build our product all the way up to our company's C-suite. Kaizen drives not just consistency and efficiency in Culture Amp's UI design and development, but is also the nexus of our accessibility efforts, which aim to have our entire product suite meeting WCAG AA by the end of this year! In this high impact role, you will guide a team of engineers and designers in delivering high priority outcomes to all our internal product teams.
Our Team Lead role consists of three key areas: People Leadership, Technical Leadership and Delivery. You will lead your engineers by helping to solve complex problems and remove blockers so they can do their best work! You will lead change management across the organization with your product manger and ensure communication at scale is on point!
Software Engineering at Culture Amp is an inclusive practice distributed across cross-functional, lightweight Agile teams, which are remote-friendly, and all of which embrace flexible work arrangements. You will be surrounded by talented engineers, and a cross-functional team including product management, design and delivery. You have great senior leadership support to make some large changes to all our in-house product teams.
