John Jenkins

Alabama native John Jenkins has had an impactful career, serving both the country and the advanced manufacturing industry in a variety of roles. John started his career in the United States Air Force as a communications engineer, spending eight years with the USAF, including service and deployment in both the Desert Shield and Desert Storm operations. Transitioning to the Alabama National Guard, John retired after twenty years of combined Air National Guard reserve and USAF active duty. John built upon his military training and experience, receiving his BS in Industrial Management Engineering and MS in Organizational Management. John’s extensive 25 year private sector career, focused primarily in aerospace and technology includes operational experience with “Blue Chip” companies including RTI International Metals, Alcoa, Hewlett Packard, Compaq, Motorola, and Nortel. John applies his personal truth of commitment to the lifelong pursuit of knowledge, the improvement of oneself, and the courage to always continue forward in his approach to business and organizational leadership.
