Jairod Barnes

Jairod Barnes serves as the Milieu Manager at Cumberland Hospital for Children and Adolescents, where responsibilities include managing unit milieu programming and acting as the primary liaison for therapists and clinical teams. Previously, Jairod was a Community Coordinator at the Virginia Department of Juvenile Justice, overseeing behavioral coaching and facility programs for residents. Additional experience includes roles as a Rehabilitation Counselor, Youth Counselor, and Pastor, with a strong focus on mentorship, counseling, and community engagement. Jairod holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance from Hampton University and a Master's degree in Christian Ministry from Campbell University.
