Jenny Bennett

Jenny Bennett currently serves as the Executive Director of Advancement at Cumberland University, a position held since October 2017. In this role, Jenny provides strategic leadership to the Advancement Office, focusing on philanthropy, donor relations, and fundraising strategies to support the university's mission. Prior to this, Jenny held the title of Development Officer, where responsibilities included cultivating and soliciting gifts to expand the university's donor base. Jenny's earlier experience includes serving as the Director of the Convention and Visitors Bureau for Wilson County Government, where a tourism marketing plan was developed to enhance the region's visibility and leisure travel. Additionally, Jenny has worked in various capacities at Cracker Barrel and Cumberland University, including roles in visual merchandise presentation, advancement coordination, and administrative support for academic programs. Jenny holds both a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts from Cumberland University.
