Chin-Pei Wang

Chin-Pei Wang serves as a Technical Manager in the Materials Science Research Group at Cummins Inc. since April 2012, overseeing the Non Destructive Evaluation, Tribology, and Polymer Engineering Laboratories. Previous roles at Cummins include Senior Technical Specialist and Technical Specialist, focusing on materials and component tribology testing and evaluation. Prior to this, Chin-Pei Wang was a PhD Research Assistant at Purdue University, conducting research on fluid mechanisms sponsored by the Department of Energy. Career beginnings include a position as Project Leader at HIWIN Technologies Corp, where innovations in linear bearing design were patented, and as a Research Assistant at National Cheng Kung University, contributing to the error analysis of machining centers. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate and Master's in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and National Cheng Kung University respectively, along with a Bachelor's degree in the same field.
