Chief Engineer/it at Cumulus Media

Ed Noyes III has a wide range of work experience in the field of engineering and media. Ed started their career as a Radio DJ/Engineering assistant at WMPT AM/FM in 1977 and later became a Staff Engineer at WHTM-TV in 1980. In the same year, they also worked as a Radio DJ at WKOK-AM/WQKX-FM. From 1981 to 1984, they served as the Director of Engineering at Sunshine Wireless and also worked as a Radio DJ/Engineer at WMPT AM/FM. In 1984, they worked as a UHF Radio Tech at Audio Intelligence Devices, repairing and testing police radio equipment. In 1985, they joined CUMULUS MEDIA as the Chief Engineer/IT, responsible for managing technical and IT equipment for 5 radio stations. Additionally, they served as the South-Central Regional Director of Engineering at CUMULUS MEDIA from 2018 to 2022, assisting nine other market engineers in installing and repairing equipment.

Ed Noyes III obtained an Associates of Electronics Technology degree from Williamsport Area Community College, specializing in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician, from 1978 to 1981. Prior to that, they attended Loyalsock Jr. & Sr. High Schools from 1973 to 1978, but did not receive a degree or pursue a specific field of study.
