Leighton Gough

Leighton Gough has a strong background in accounting and finance. They began their career as a Computer Technician at Fayette County School Corporation in 2011. They then worked as a Team Recruiter and Assistant at Franklin College before transitioning to a Sales Associate role at Under Armour in 2012. In 2013, Leighton took on an Accounting Internship at Excel Equipment LLC. The following year, they joined Sponsel CPA Group as a Staff Accountant, where they were responsible for maintaining fixed asset schedules, conducting compilation and audit reports, and preparing tax returns. In 2015, Leighton moved to Simon Property Group, where they served as a Senior Staff Accountant until 2021. During this time, they gained experience in financial reporting and analysis. They then joined Kite Realty Group as a Senior Property Accountant, playing a key role in managing property finances. Currently, Leighton works at Cunningham Restaurant Group as an Accounting Manager, overseeing the financial operations of the company.
