Jason Medaris

As vice president of operations for the Southern California Division of Cupertino Electric, Inc. (CEI), Jason Medaris oversees commercial projects and is responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships in the Los Angeles area.

With nearly three decades of construction experience, Medaris has a track-record of successfully running large-scale, complex projects for public and private clients. He specializes in fast-track tenant improvement projects, multi-year capital projects, university campuses and Design/Build projects. Most recently, Medaris oversaw the U.C. Merced 2020 expansion project in Northern California involving 15 buildings featuring classrooms, offices, labs, residences and recreational facilities, along with the installation of new infrastructure, low voltage and emergency communications systems. Other notable projects by Medaris include Parkmerced Blocks 6, 20 and 22, Lumina on Folsom Street and the UC Davis Tower II. While a project executive, Medaris also had experience with quality control, LEED design, 3D modeling, LEAN means and methods, material procurement and purchasing.
