Neil Hunt

Neil Hunt has a diverse range of work experience in various companies. Neil'smost recent role is the Chief Product Officer at Vibrant Planet since April 2021. Previously, they served as the Chief Strategy Officer and CEO at Curai from 2018 to 2019. Neil also worked as an Advisor at Vitagene, InsideTracker (Segterra), and Scotiabank, and as a Board of Director at Roku Inc. and Logitech. Prior to these roles, Neil held the position of Chief Product Officer at Netflix from 1999 to 2017, where they led a team in designing and optimizing the technology behind the streaming service. Before Netflix, they worked in director-level engineering roles at Rational Software and Pure Atria in the late 1990s.

Neil Hunt completed their education with a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Electronics from Durham University in 1985. Neil then pursued a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Aberdeen, graduating in 1989. In 2019, Durham University awarded him an Honorary D.Sc. degree.
