Debbie Tahmassebi

Debbie Tahmassebi is a seasoned academic leader currently serving as the Provost at Westminster University since July 2019. In addition to this role, Debbie has been a Board Member at Curated Pathways to Innovation™ since 2016. Previously, Debbie held the position of Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Santa Clara University from June 2015 to June 2019 and served in various roles, including Associate Dean, Professor, and Chair of the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of San Diego from September 1999 to June 2015. Debbie's leadership development was further enhanced through participation in the ACE Fellows Program with the American Council on Education from 2012 to 2013. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Washington, a Post-doctoral Fellowship at the University of Rochester, and a B.A. in Chemistry from UC San Diego.
