Carlos Cruz

Carlos Cruz has extensive experience in compliance and privacy roles within the healthcare industry. Carlos is currently the Head of Privacy and Compliance at Curative, where they oversee the daily compliance and privacy program and ensures adherence to regulatory requirements. Prior to this, Carlos worked as the Compliance and Privacy Officer at Amazon Care, where they implemented telemedicine and in-person treatment services while ensuring regulatory compliance. Carlos also served as the Chief Compliance Officer at Tri-City Medical Center and the Vice President and Chief Integrity Officer at Sinai Health System, where they established compliance programs and worked on improving patient privacy and confidentiality. Carlos has also held compliance and risk management positions at Satellite Healthcare/WellBound, Stanford Health Care, UW Physicians, and the University of South Florida.

Carlos Cruz earned a Master's Degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Seton Hall University between 2011 and 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Juris Doctor (JD) degree in Law from the University of Florida from 1996 to 1998. Carlos completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science from Indiana University Bloomington, studying from 1991 to 1995.
