Syed Junaid

Syed Junaid has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Syed started their career as a Research and Development Associate at PolyVista from May 2012 to June 2013. In 2013, they joined Semantria as a Software Developer, where they worked on building a natural language processing comparison tool and performing Wikipedia crawling to gather entities.

Later in 2013, Syed Junaid joined CureMD as an Assistant Software Engineer. During their time at CureMD, they worked on various projects, including designing and developing a code review portal and revamping application modules. In 2014, they became a Software Engineer and successfully upgraded password encryption for all clients, ensuring more secure data storage.

In 2016, Syed Junaid was promoted to Senior Software Engineer at CureMD. Syed led a team of developers and QA members to deliver the KDHE Forms Reporting project, focusing on designing an expandable system that met complex requirements. In 2020, they were further promoted to Principal Software Engineer and became the lead developer for the Treatment Plan project. Syed achieved key accomplishments by selecting and implementing Angular as the client-side technology, as well as teaching Angular to a team of ten developers, resulting in improved skills and retention across the company. Currently, Syed Junaid holds the position of Assistant Project Manager at CureMD.

Syed Junaid started their education journey in 2005 at The Trust School, where they completed their Matriculation degree in Computer Science in 2007. Syed then attended Superior College from 2007 to 2009, where they pursued Pre-Engineering. Afterward, from 2009 to 2013, Syed Junaid enrolled in Punjab University College of Information and Technology, where they earned a BSCS degree in Computer Science.

In terms of further education, Syed Junaid is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science at Lahore University of Management Sciences, which they started in 2021 and is expected to complete in 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Syed Junaid has obtained several certifications. In December 2021, they acquired the certification for "Onboarding New Hires as a Manager" and the certification for "Problem Solving Techniques" from LinkedIn. Furthermore, they obtained the certification for "Delegating Tasks" and "Leading Productive Meetings" from LinkedIn in January 2022.
