Homa Karimabadi

Homa Karimabadi has a long history of experience in the field of artificial intelligence. Homa began their career in 1990 as a Simulations Group Leader at UCSD's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. In 2004, they became the Vice President of Business Development at Doctors Online. In 2014, they co-founded CureMetrix and served as the Algorithm Scientist. In 2017, they co-founded Analytics Ventures and served as their Chief Scientist. In 2019, they became President of the AI Lab for Analytics Ventures. Most recently, in 2020, they became the Chief Science Officer at AlphaTrAI.

Homa Karimabadi holds a Bachelor of Science in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as a PhD in Plasma Astrophysics from the University of Maryland.
