Austin White-Gaynor

Austin White-Gaynor currently serves as the Head of Data Science at Shelf Engine, where experience includes roles as Data Science Manager and Senior Data Scientist since May 2021. Previous positions include Lead Data Scientist and Data Scientist at Macy's from November 2019 to April 2021, as well as Technical Advisor and Data Science Fellow at Insight Data Science in 2020 and 2019, respectively, where a content-based classification and recommendation system named MakeItMeatless was developed and deployed. Additional experience features an internship at Los Alamos National Laboratory and a role as Space Scholar at the Air Force Research Laboratory. Austin White-Gaynor holds a Ph.D. in Geosciences from Penn State University, as well as an MS in the same field from the same institution, and a BS in Geosciences from Virginia Tech.
