Michael Huey

Michael Huey has a diverse work experience, beginning with their role as a Math Teacher and Soccer Coach for Chapel Hill Carrboro City Schools from 2011 to 2013. During this time, they were a member of the district's technology committee and led a 4 hour technology training session. In 2012, they took on the role of Youth Program Director at Duke University. In 2020, they joined WhatCounts as a Software Engineer. Finally, in 2021, they began working at CureMint, Inc.\u00ae as a Full Stack Developer. During their time at CureMint, they automated an image processing, resizing, and conversion process, saving hundreds of person hours for Customer Success and reducing average image directory storage from 11.5GB to 1.

Michael Huey graduated from Appalachian State University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Secondary Education.
