Kevin Wood

Kevin Wood has had a diverse work experience in the field of information security. Kevin'smost recent role was as the Senior Director and Chief Information Security Officer at Curia (formerly AMRI), starting in August 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Director and Chief Information Security Officer at Curia from April 2021 to August 2022. Before joining Curia, Kevin worked as the Associate Director of Information Security and Compliance at Curia from August 2020 to April 2021 and as a Senior Information Security Lead from October 2019 to August 2020.

Prior to their time at Curia, Kevin worked as a Senior Information Security Analyst at NYISO from August 2016 to October 2019. Kevin also gained experience as a Network Security Engineer at KeyBank from June 2015 to August 2016.

Additionally, Kevin has a strong background in IT security and administration. Kevin worked as an IT Security Specialist at NYISO from February 2013 to June 2015, and as a Windows Administrator at NYISO from May 2010 to February 2013. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Operations Specialist at Atlas Copco from July 2008 to May 2010.

Kevin Wood earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Lewis University, where they studied from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Philosophy and Religious Studies with a minor in Information Systems from The College of St. Rose, where they attended from 1997 to 2001. In addition to their formal education, Kevin also holds several certifications, including CISSP and Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) from (ISC)², Forcepoint Trition AP-Data Professional from Forcepoint LLC, CEH from EC-Council, and EC-Council Certified Security Analyst: Penetration Testing (ECSA) also from EC-Council.
