Job description

Company Overview

Curie.Bio is an early stage biotech venture firm combined with an accelerator / service provider that enables entrepreneurial founders to launch therapeutics companies. Curie.Bio does this by giving founders access to the world’s best drug hunters, seed capital, and best-of-breed services -- everything a founder needs to get from concept to a Series A financing. Our founding team of Zach Weinberg, Christoph Lengauer and Alexis Borisy has started numerous therapeutics companies and been intimately involved with many more. The perennial challenges they have faced and overcome are what led to the creation of Curie.Bio.

Since formation in 2022, Curie.Bio has raised over $900 million across two funds and its holding company from premier LPs as well as other leading VC firms such as Andreessen Horowitz, GV, F-Prime, and Casdin Capital. Curie.Bio has quickly grown to 70 employees with offices in Cambridge, New York City, and San Francisco.

Hired in a management team, created a business plan, funded the company with Curie.Bio capital, created customer sales collateral, developed pitch materials and a detailed operating model, and raised a $25 million Series A from outside investors.
  • Raised a $380 million Series A fund to invest further in our most promising portfolio companies. Supported CEO with pitch materials, managed fund counsel on legal docs and LP negotiations, and handled all LP operational due diligence.
  • Supported Forward Therapeutics' $50 million Series A. Modeled pro forma ownership implied by competing term sheets and liquidation waterfall to determine the impact of participating preferred stock to founders and Curie.Bio.
