Stephanie Badawi

Senior Brand Designer at Curio

Stephanie Badawi has a wealth of experience in the design and communications industry. Stephanie began their career in 2007 as a Marketing Intern at Montreux Music & Convention Centre 2m2c, where they were part of the Congress Centre welcoming team and gained valuable experience in event management. In 2010, Stephanie joined the World Economic Forum as a Senior Project Associate for the Risk Response Network, where they managed the Global Risks Report and liaised with internal and external service providers. Stephanie also held the position of Team Coordinator. In 2017, Stephanie worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer for China Exchange, where they developed a logo for China In Context. From 2018 to 2019, Stephanie worked at Brand42 as a Junior Freelance Designer and Graphic Design Intern, and at NB Studio as a Graphic Design Intern. During this time, they were involved in research and packaging design for new business proposals to the alcohol brands Chivas and Glenlivet, as well as digital design for a luxury travel agency. Stephanie then moved to Mother in 2019 as a Junior Designer, where they worked on Grundig's brand book design and activation as part of a full rebrand, and on digital campaigns for Iberostar. Finally, in 2020 Stephanie began working at Peloton Interactive as a Freelance Graphic Designer, where they were responsible for digital campaigns, window vinyl, way-finding signage and poster designs for Peloton stores across the UK, Germany and Australia. Stephanie is currently employed at Curio as a Brand Designer.

Stephanie Badawi received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Marketing from EHL in 2009. In 2013, they took a course entitled "Learning to Look at Modern Art" at the University of Oxford in the field of Art/Art Studies, General. In 2016, they took an Introduction to Illustration course at the University of the Arts London in Graphic Design. Stephanie then attended Shillington College in 2016-2017 to further their studies in Graphic Design.
