Matt Jennings

Matt Jennings has been working in the software engineering industry since 2012. In 2012, they began as a Jr. Web Developer at M, where they developed web sites using HTML/CSS/JS, Drupal, and Wordpress. Matt also had direct client interaction and provided responsive web design consultation. In 2014, they worked as a Front End Engineer at Qordoba, where they built a language localization platform with an AngularJS based front-end. Later in 2014, they worked as a Multimedia Developer at Red Nucleus, developing interactive e-learning solutions for major pharmaceutical clients. In 2016, they became a Senior Web Developer at Blue Beetle, where they led development of an online restaurant "menu management" platform, built a content theming system, and built an online NPS system. In 2017, they became an Engineering Lead at Property Finder, the largest real estate web portal in the UAE. In this role, they actively lead the development and maintenance of the project, managed and directed a partially distributed team, enforced best practices, and wrote and achieved product and tech OKRs. In 2020, they became a Senior Software Engineer at CuriosityStream.

Matt Jennings graduated from the University of Kent in 2012 with a BSc (Hons) in Multimedia Technology & Design. In 2016, they obtained a Machine Learning Certificate from Stanford University through Coursera Course Certificates. In 2020, they obtained a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance.
