Wanying Zhao

Wanying Zhao has extensive work experience in the field of biostatistics. Wanying currently works at Curis, where they hold the position of Associate Director. Prior to joining Curis in 2021, Wanying worked at Incyte from 2017 to 2021, where they held various roles including Senior Principal Biostatistician, Principal Biostatistician, and Senior Biostatistician. Wanying also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The George Washington University Columbian College of Arts & Sciences from 2013 to 2017. Additionally, Wanying has experience as a Biostatistics Intern III at Gilead Sciences in 2016 and as a Clinical Statistician at Bayer HealthCare in 2015. Wanying started their career as a Data Analyst at Pharmeyes in 2010.

Wanying Zhao holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Statistics from The George Washington University, which was obtained between 2013 and 2017. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Statistics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2011 to 2013. Wanying'seducation journey began at Dongbei University of Finance and Economics, where they earned a bachelor's degree in Statistics from 2007 to 2011. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications, both as a SAS Certified Advanced Programmer for SAS 9 from SAS, in August 2012.
